DIY Workshop to teach low-tech methods of soil quality evaluation.
In July 2022, La Casa dels Futurs organized a workshop in collaboration with the “Refugi” an urban community garden in Barcelona. The event, “An Encounter with the Earth” shared low-tech practices to evaluate and improve soil health. Participants were invited to bring their own soil and where taught tactics to evaluate its pH and composition. This workshop was part of an ongoing project towards building networks and practices for urban climate resilience.
